1/ Empire Besieged
Reports coming in from many bars indicates another wave of attacks planned from the Confederate DTR alliance. Titan and Imperial systems enroute to Trinity are expected to come under increased scrutiny by the confederates, with the DTR no doubt delivering the blows. If the DTR can link up Trinity with Straddle this would be a significant strategic advantage.

3/DNA SHIPS

Freighters
The DNA Garbage Scow is the most wellknown freighter being larger and faster than a AFT Carrier it can really shift gear at 125 hulls and is better protected with normal hulls and ablative armour with a higher speed. MKI and MKII ships are believed to be in existance and also a MKIII on the drawing board.

Other Ships of various designs are noticeable, including designs of freighters from 50 hulls to 300 hulls. Quite how the DNA manages to do this is a mystery.

Warships
The DNA do not manufacture warships like many other affiliations, the lack of much military technology and shipyards is apparent. However, despite this the DNA have acquired a number of warships including some impressive ones by human standard, but average for alien standards.

The most well seen and documented of these is the Alien Angel, a Patrol Cruiser class ship previously named Verismillitude. This is one of the longest serving vessels in the DNA Navy. Recently re-fitted to the Ravager DNA Class it has seen action in Acroplois where it attacked pirates and the brave crew was killed. However, the Battleship of CNF design the DNA ship Royal Naplian despatched the Pirates as they fled and stopped an iminant boarding attempt. This was the first time the pirates failed to board a derelict ship and certainly an unbelievable escape for the Alien Angel. Truely the spirits look after her. The DNA have re-fitted her with alien technology. The Alien Angel now is larger than the DNA Battleship (125 Heavy Hulls) and possesses a bigger punch than this ship of the line.

The Royal Naplian Battleship Class was previously a Patrol Cruiser, again the DNA ship builders with the CNF have helped make this an impressive ship. It has special alien technology whilst only 100 heavy hulls it should out perform most similar human ships of the line. Admiral Prince Altuk commands this ship.

The Seraph a Marauder Class ship has undergone many designs, Organic now in nature it has some special weaponary that put fear up the largest warship although looks from the outside to be harmless. Commanded by Commodore Bridge it is a sophisticated warship unique in the DNA with a record of achievement unsurpassed.

Shaman's Death -Grizzley Class Ship this is a massive 150 Heavy Hull MkII monster. A serious ship this monster can really do some incredible damage, and best avoided. This came from the remnants of the defeated Clan, Mad Max rescueing the ship, and the crew converting to the Democratic Native Alliance, with a few specials on board.

Speeding Tomahawk - Cheetah - High G Gunboat
This vessel is fast and has a small array of weapons to halt a fleet in its tracks. It patrols the cluster and can be regularly seen.
It is a converted CLN Cheetah again rescued and reformed to the DNA.

Other Warships
Other warships are classified and many other designs and configurations exist. The DNA are rumoured to be producing the Ambush Crusier Class designed to take on Pirates and shadow freighters.

Trade News

Bamboo Gardens releases some goods in closing down sale. Felini Govenor lands in Bamboo Gardens for talks. Confederates complain that market message gives the wrong impression about pirates in the Darkfold. Mad Max requests the message be removed as pirate warning has now been effective.

Markets are flourishing and trade is active in all sectors. All funds go to supporting efforts against slavery, protecting native populations and keeping this poor affiliation alive.

Bamboo Gardens what is happening

Bamboo Gardens is being passed Peacefully into the hands of the Felini. This came from much publicised threats from the BHD about some rumours leading to the Battle of Skord which they subsequently were victorious in.

Warnings, and blatent threats made by the DTR, BHD and CNF based on blatently inaccurate information, have given the Naplian Administration no choice but to resign in protest from this area. It is well known that excuses like this have been used to start wars by allies of the DTR. Bamboo Gardens was being used as a market for trade and peace, but the BHD quickly assumed that the items for sale all originated from the Darkfold and were being illegally extracted. This was not the case and has been proven by the DNA. The DNA were simply bringing goods into the Darkfold to sell on from other DNA bases. Beach was meant to be a trade centre for the confederates, but now it has been learnt that one of the former govonors has left. DNA trading ambitions in this area have died but the DNA is resourceful unit and no doubt they will spring up somewhere again to carry on their good work.
